Sydnie Ashbrook

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Sydnie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor known for her warm, grounded presence and her ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely safe, seen, and understood. She takes a compassionate, client-centered approach that helps people open up, process their experiences, and reconnect with themselves.

She works with individuals ages 10 and older and especially enjoys supporting teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, anger, and life transitions. Her approach is both practical and body-aware. She helps clients understand their patterns while building the skills needed to create meaningful change. By slowing down, making sense of emotions, and strengthening confidence, clients learn how to respond to life’s challenges more effectively.

Sydnie is passionate about helping clients develop emotional awareness and greater nervous system flexibility in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. She integrates polyvagal-informed strategies to support nervous system regulation alongside evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Sydnie earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of the Cumberlands in 2023. She received her undergraduate degree in Agriculture Science from Southern Utah University in 2018.

Outside of her work, Sydnie enjoys spending time with loved ones, hiking, practicing yoga, reading, and caring for her cats and horse.
